Huge thanks to all of you who made these fantastic creatures, the skill you've displayed is just staggering! Each of these items has been, or will be soon, donated to therapists working with extremely worried children. The issues they're dealing with include domestic violence, sexual abuse, neglect, bereavement, autism and other mental health conditions, disability in all its forms, bullying, internet grooming, eating disorders, fear of Covid, terminal illness, youngsters who are suicidal, and even military families with separation anxiety.
These are not toys, but important therapy tools, and each and every one of them will help numerous children. What may not be apparent at a first glance is that they all contain a deep pocket at the mouth, which is there for the children to post their worry papers into.
You should be so proud of your achievements. Please continue to make these, we still need them as we have a long waiting list for our items. We all thank the makers of these patterns, because such a lot of work went into creating them.
